When buying your poultry make sure you know the integrity of the seller.
If you have only been in the know for a short time you can get yourself ripped off literally.
When buying make sure you do the following:
Research the breed you want to buy ie color, size etc.
Make a list of questions to ask the seller, ie how much? how old?
Be warey of people who don't want you to see the breeding stock, ie what are they hiding?
Make sure the breeder has answered your questions to YOUR satisfaction not theirs.
Buy for integrity - it's better to pay a little more from someone that knows the breed and has been breeding for a while, thats what we have done and found to work alot better.
And obove all trust your instincts your gut feeling it is usually right!
What We Are Trying To Do
We are trying our best to breed and promote Pure Bred Poultry & Waterfowl. We are trying to specialise in the repopulation of rarer breeds where possible.
The question is where to start. We are dairy farmers by trade breeding Stud Holstein Fresian Cattle and Jersey Cattle. In our spare time we enjoy breeding and showing poultry and waterfowl.
