It doesn't sound like much, but at the Strathalbyn Show today Annie Belle got a third in her class.

Given the fact that there were 8 in the class, we thought it was pretty good, oh did I also mention she was the youngest.

The class was Heifer under 18 months, and to be honest when I walked her out into the ring I really didn't think she had a chance.

But she paraded herself beautifully, and handled like a dream, of course I lead like a dairy farmer and walk backwards, ha ha!

By the way she got pretty spoilt, Sam was brushing her, and then another girl wanted to have a go and so it went on.

At least 100 kids had a brush and a pat, she lapped it up and it was great pr for the breed.
